Hi Alex. I agree - expanding the use of Solar power would be great here, (ok, well anywhere, lol). I must wonder if it is the Cost (to build or buy a system, and the batteries) or lack of interest or education that hinders an explosion of solar power use.
I know for me and my husband, it is cost and time - invested into creating/fabricating, implementing and installing such a system. We have watched many YouTube videos about home built units. I’ve seen a small system in Eridu made just for household water heating needs. The KOA in Perry has what appears to be a homemade system (I think for heating their swimming pool water since it was located in that area of the property). I applaud them both. Even a small setup is a move in the right direction.
I think it would be wonderful if the County (or somebody local), held an Earth Day Expo or workshop to expose more people to the idea of solar systems and even Hydroponic and Aquaponic gardening.

Do you have a solar system? Are you a distributor/installer for solar systems?
Do tell!!

Teresa
