It rained like all get out today. All my rain barrels were full in less than an hour.
Yard looked like Lake-front property for hours, lol, but we sure needed the rain.

Most in Taylor County know too well how much water was dumped during several days of rain from Tropical Storm Debby (June 24-27, 2012). My rain barrels (5 of them now), were already full before Debby arrived and the Snipes property down the road is still half flooded (8 acres), almost a month later.
It's rained every few days since then as well.

Glad tropical storm Issac took a westward path. I don't need anymore rain at my place.
I heard Taylor county has received like 46 inches of rain since Memorial Day. Wow!
